Awanyi looses KCCA Captaincy

KCCA coach, Mike Mutebi decided to end the services of skipper Timothy Awany as the KCCA captain and decided to opt for a new face.

Starting next season, the kasasiro boys captain will be goal keeper, Charles Lukwago. Lukwago will be deputized by Julius Poloto and Mustafa Kizza.

The development has come at a time of speculations that Mr. Awanyi will be going for greener pastures soon outside Uganda. The susprising change in the captain arm band may hold the condition true.

Awany and Lukwago are both part of the Cranes provisional squad which Coach Disabre will choose from to represent Uganda in AFCON.
