Know your Cranes Star: Juuko Murshid

Murushid Juuko (born 14 April 1994 in Entebbe,Wakiso District is a Ugandan footballer currently currently playing for Tanzanian giants Simba SC as a Center Back.

In Uganda, he featured for Bunamwaya Fc currently known as Vipers Sc between 2009 to 20012 and later joined SC Victoria University from 2012 to 2014 after which he joined SC Simba of Tanzania where he is uptodate

Juuko has featured for the Uganda cranes at almost all level. He played for the U-20 side between 2011-2012 then the U-23 in 2013. He after made it to the senior team in 2014 as an under study for the aging Andy Mwesigwa the then Cranes Captain. Juuko was able to seal off the position successfully and till now he is an assured starter for the national team in defence.
